Lead Time
We make all of our products to order. The current lead time is 10 to 12 weeks for lighting and 12 to 14 weeks for furniture, worldwide. We wire our lights according to the location requirements.

International Shipping & Duties (DDU)
Snelling does not charge or collect any taxes on orders outside of New Zealand. All international orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). This means local taxes, duties, customs fees, and import processing charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient once the shipment arrives in the destination country.
Once your shipment arrives, the shipping company will contact you directly via email or text message to collect any applicable charges prior to delivery. Payment is typically required within 5 business days to avoid the shipment being returned.
Shipment and delivery operate during business hours (9am–5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Typical charges for Australia:
- Duty: $0
- GST: 10% of total order value
- Customs Processing Fees: approximately AUD $115 for goods valued under AUD $10,000, or approximately AUD $225 for goods over AUD $10,000
- AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Service) fee for timber items: approximately AUD $150

On acceptance of an order, we may confirm the period of shipment or delivery. This is subject to change depending on your destination and any circumstances that are out of the control of Snelling.
Snelling and our freight partners accept no liability for any loss or damage if you give authority for the courier to leave the Goods with a third party or left unattended (location nominated by you).
We reserve the right to charge additional costs for unusual access not advised in writing and if the nominated site is not ready to accept the Goods on the date agreed upon. If you fail to provide us with any appropriate instructions, documents, licences or authorisations for the delivery to be completed, we reserve the right to Invoice you all additional costs that this may incur.
Orders can be stored at Snelling for a limited time on a case-by-case basis. If storage is required for longer periods of time, storage fees maybe apply.
Inspection of all Goods is required upon delivery. Notification of any damages, shortages or inconsistencies with the original order must be made in writing to your sales representative or to info@snellingstudio.com within three business days of receiving the Goods and prior to installation. If damage has occurred in shipping all packaging must be retained by the receiver. Damages and shortages will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
All Online Orders are handled through sales@snellingstudio.com. Should any issues arise please contact us at this email address. As soon as you place an order with Snelling you will receive an email confirmation. Please contact the email above should you not receive this within 48 hours. All online orders are expected to arrive within 10-12 weeks from order confirmation.
