Olius Pendant 02 introduces a lighter, more ethereal character to the collection. Its slender, stem-like arms reference the distinctive spindly shapes of the lancwood, or Horoeka, tree - a native specimen that stands out in the forest canopy for its unusual tooth-like spine and sparse leaves. The designer became intrigued by this forest specimen with its repeating negative forms floating in arcs of light and changing appearance as it matures from juvenile to adult tree.
